Cessna's were rarely seen in my childhood: almost all aircraft in Hungary were manufactured by the COMECON countries (mostly by Czechoslovakia, Poland and the Sovietunion) back then. Only a few Piper and one Cessna "Skymaster" were used in general aviation. This has changed after the political turn: hundreds of used "western" aircrafts were brought in the country after 1990

HA-JDT taking off (although the pitch seems to be rather small) from Budaörs.
HA-SIS, about a few hundred feet away from the previous scene.
HA-SJB at Budaörs (LHBS). This C150 is a bit old, it was made in 1964.
HA-SJT seen at Farkashegy (LHFH) is younger: it was manufactured in 1967.
HA-SJW is a rebuilt C-150. I saw this airplane at Farkashegy for years but now I haven't seen it for a while...

The C172 is the "Volkswagen of the skies", so here is a picture of a Cessna in german registration :-)
What a registration - it's also a name! HA-BOB at Budaörs.

Designated as the "missing link" between the classic 172 and the stronger 180, this aircraft was only built between 1958 and 62.
Mr. Tibor Olasz took me on a small round trip with his 1961 plane, HA-SAP on my 30th birthday.

The same plane from a different angle. The C177 is much more comfortable thgan the C172, you have much more space (and the plane's stronger too).

HA-SKW is an oldtimer from the year 1960.
HA-SKY: this plane has since crashed killing all on board. RIP!
HA-SKZ.
The C337 "Skymaster" is an interesting plane: it has one engine facing forwards and one backwards instead of two engines in a common configuration.
HA-FAA was built in 1975.
The two-engine C421 is very rare sight here...
It was waiting to be repainted when I photographed it at Farkashegy.
