Back in the streets: a 1963 DÜWAG articulated car on route 1.
Joint bus/trolley/tram stop Marktplatz with a bus on supplemenetary service instead of real trams on route 3.
Route 6 is another "mountain railway", although a bit shorter than Stubaitalbahn (8 kilometres). The one-track line winds up to a plateau through a forest, it's real nice!

Of course I couldn't leave this place without trying some (two) of its cable cars...
... that take you up...
... to around 2300 metres.
The view was incredible!
Stubaitalbahn car number 82 at its temporary terminus at Maria-Theresienstrasse. I belive normally they'd go to the main railway station.
On the next morning, before we started our homeward journey, we photographed a few more trams, like this Lohner...

A trolley bus: although our accomodation lay near a trolley line, most of the vehicles we saw there were "normal" buses.
And as a farewell: another Lohner.
Our journey back home was not really straight (Innsbruck-Bischofshofen-Selzthal-Leoben-Wien Meidling-Wien Westbahnhof-Budapest), but this was our intention. Traveling through the Alps by train is a way of life I believe, and I can understand rail fans doing this all the time :) And you can even see such specialities (well, at least for me) like this narrow-gauge rack railway, aswell!
