It was still our fifth day, and we were on our way to Kassel. The journey wasn't exactly comfortable: there were no vacant seats on the ICE train, so we alighted in Frankfurt am Main, and took a train to Fulda, and then took another one to our destination.

Kassel

The square in front of the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe railway station seemed desolate at first sight, but then a bunch of trams arrived...

Sixth day

(No cheap jokes with the sixth day, please!)

After a bit of tramming around, we got to Königsstrasse, the pedestrian mall we saw yesterday.

It was saturday and very early too, despite, we saw quite a few trams!

And they were queueing up again! Please if you know, tell me if this is the local way of harmonising schedules!

Before going out to the railway station, we've travelled with route 1 straight to its outer terminus at Wilhelmshöhe. This turning loop is located in a forest, and is probably a nice photo-object, but I guess we were there too early, so everything was a bit dim. Too bad!

And then there we were on a train again!
