1979. A new member of the TPA-8 series, based on microprocessor technology.

On the picture above you can see a nice configuration with the CPU chassis, 8" floppies (directly behind the operator's seat), two DZM180 printers, papertape punch/reader, and a KFKI TDP05 (VT05-compatible) CRT terminal.
The operator's console was as interesting option: it was a detachable panel with octal keypad, a small display, and was used to perform operations normally done on the switches&lights-type frontpanel. It also had 4KW EPROM memory for storing bootstraps and diagnostic tests.
