A VAX-compatible machine with the performance of the VAX-11/730. Designed around 1984 it was based on the bitslice technique, implemented with Am2900-series components. Its system bus was called jxbus, it was the enhanced version of the xbus used in the TPA-11/440. The CPU consists of three cards plus the microcode storage and memory. The machine also had a microprocessor-based (Z80) console susbsystem.
The configuration on the pictures lives in a standard 19" rack, and has two 5.25" minifloppy and two 8" Fujitsu SMD drives attached.
